Muḥammad Manz̤oor Nomānī (c. 15 December – 4 May ) was an Indian Islamic scholar. Prominent among his written works are Maariful Hadith, Islam Kya Hai?, and Khomeini and the Iranian Revolution. He graduated from Darul Uloom Deoband in , where he studied hadith under Anwar Shah Kashmiri. Founder Members – AIMMM
Nomani was a founding member of Jamaat-e-Islami Na’ib Amir (Deputy leader) but due to differences with Maulana Maududi he left Jamaat-i-Islami in August/September (Sha’ban AH). After leaving Jamaat-e-Islami, he and Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi became affiliated with the Tablighi Jamaat movement.

Manzoor Nomani was born on 15 December 1905 (18 Shawwal 1323 AH) in Sambhal, United Provinces of Agra and Oudh, British India. [3] Nomani received his primary education in his hometown, graduating from Madrasa Sirajul Uloom Hilali Sarai Sambhal. [4].
Experience so far achieved in this field showed that Maulana was right in his approach and quite successful in his attempt. Nomani was a founding member of Jamaat-e-Islami Na’ib Amir (Deputy leader) but due to differences with Maulana Maududi he left Jamaat-i-Islami in August/September 1942 (Sha’ban 1361 AH).
